New study on the cover of Geology
Research article about fjord formations in Greenland published in Geology
Vivi Kathrine Pedersen, Nicolaj Krog Larsen and David Lundbek Egholm from the Department of Geoscience published a new study in Geology in July 2019.
The timing and extent of early glaciations in Greenland and their co-evolution with the underlying landscape remain elusive. In the study they use the concept of geophysical relief to estimate fjord erosion and the subsequent flexural isostatic response to erosional unloading in Northeast and North Greenland.
