The Niels Bohr Professorship in the Centre of Earth System Petrology at the Department of Geosciences invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in isotope geochemistry and petrology.  We seek an individual with expertise in laser ablation inductively couple plasma mass spectrometry, and strong interests in developing and improving methods for split-stream analysis of elemental concentrations and isotope ratios using quadrupole and multiple collector ICPMS instruments. (S)he will apply these techniques principally to problems in igneous petrology.  Experience with clean laboratory methods, including ion exchange chromatography for radiogenic and/or non-traditional stable isotopes, is also desirable.
