Niels Bohr Professor appointed to the department of Geoscience
Professor Charles E. Lesher (University of California, USA) has just been appointed Niels Bohr Professor at the Department of Geoscience for a period of five years. His appointment will be marked by an inaugural lecture on Thursday 14 November followed by a reception, and a symposium on Friday 15 November entitled Grand Challenges in Earth System Petrology, where everyone is welcome to attend.
