We are pleased to welcome Troels Nielsen from GEUS to give a special seminar on some of his work relating to the Skaergaard Intrusion of East Greenland. Troels Nielsen began his career with an article in Nature about the formation of the North Atlantic. In the past decade, Nielsen's studies of the Skærgaard Intrusion have included a reinterpretation of the structure, volume and chemical composition of the intrusion. Glowing commitment to the geological field is one of Troels Nielsen's branded products, and he has for many years eagerly shared his ideas with colleagues.
