Congratulations Pernille!
ESP's latest MSc graduate.
On April 28th 2016, Pernille Buus Poulsen successfully defend her MSc thesis at the Department of Geoscience. The title of her work was 'Mineralization of a volcanic succession in the Kialineq magmatic complex, East Greenland'.
Her study included the petrographic description of volcanic agglomerates from the Kialineq magmatic complex. Moreover, she investigated the sulfide mineralization geochemically with whole rock and in-situ pyrite analysis. The sulfide occurrence is potentially the remnants of a larger magmatic-hydrothermal system similar to epithermal Au-Ag systems.
