Department of Geoscience has a number of skilled laboratory technologists, who cover most areas within geology, geochemistry and geotechnology. We perform chemical and physical analyzes on various materials (water, soil, sediments, minerals, rocks and archaeological artefacts), perform mechanical experiments and investigate terrestrial and marine environmental indicators such as various organic biomarkers, pollen and foraminifera.
