At the network and career day, Department of Geoscience wants to establish collaborations between business, research and education.
GeoMatch is a networking and career day for businesses, organizations and authorities, as well as for researchers and students at the Department of Geoscience. The event has one clear goal: To bring business closer to the department’s researchers and students and vice versa.
The event will be a mixture of short presentations and a marketplace. Here, businesses, organizations and authorities can place their own stands, where they can present themselves, network, exchange ideas and discuss opportunities and potentials for collaboration with researchers and students.
10.00-11.00: Companies can set up their stands
10.15 - 10.45: Early career awareness (Talk by Vibeke Broe and Miriam Vestergaard Kobbersmed from AU Career)
10.00 - 11.00: The companies will be setting up stands
11.00 - 11.05: Welcome by the Head of Department Marit-Solveig Seidenkrantz in the Auditorium
11.05 – 12.10: 3 Minute Madness (the companies are given 3 minutes to present themselves)
12.10 – 12.30: Lunch in the foyer
12.30 – 14.00: Networking (students and researchers can discuss collaboration possibilities with the companies).
14.00 – 15.00: Coffee/tea and cake and Networking
15.00 – 16.00: Presentation in the Auditorium
