Geology-LEGO and sound at Gellerup Library
Come by the children's library at Gellerup Library for an afternoon in the spirit of geology with LEGO, Minecraft, sound experiences and much more geology.

Week 24 is all about geology at Gellerup Library. Throughout the week, there will be various activities and experiences with geology as the focus, and the Department of Geoscience has of course collaborated with the library to make the week something very special.
During the week, you can:
- determine rock types and minerals with a rock determination cloth.
- see models of columnar basalt and/or or other geological phenomena and the trade winds in the library garden.
- experience the sound installation The Mine, which is a story about the boy Emil, who ventures into a mine to find minerals for the green transition. (in danish)
- hear author and geologist Keld Conradsen talk about his novel The City and the Sea, where geology plays an important role (Wednesday 19-20) (in danish)
- build rocks in LEGO and display them on the "mountain" in the library (Thursday 15-17)
