The 19th Magma Chamber Processes Meeting took place this year in Copenhagen on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Department of Earth Science and Nature Management.  After a break of three years participants resumed the series of meetings for hard-rock geology, which, despite the name, gladly receives contributions from all branches of hard-rock geology and geochemistry.

The meeting has been held alternately in Aarhus and Copenhagen since 1991 with participants from both universities, but this year students and staff from universities in Sweden, Norway and Germany were invited. The meeting was informal and as usual particularly encouraged students to contribute lectures and posters on their projects. 

Charles Lesher, Eric Brown, Rasmus Andreasen, Jannicka Jensen, and Sandra Michelis all presented their work this year. Thorsten Nagel and Hannah Bobrowski participated in the numerous fruitful discussions that arose during the meeting.
