At the network and career day, Department of Geoscience wants to establish collaborations between business, research and education.
GeoMatch is a networking and career day for businesses, organizations and authorities, as well as for researchers and students at the Department of Geoscience. The event has one clear goal: To bring business closer to the department’s researchers and students and vice versa.
The event will be a mixture of short presentations and a marketplace. Here, businesses, organizations and authorities can place their own stands, where they can present themselves, network, exchange ideas and discuss opportunities and potentials for collaboration with researchers and students.
Stands with Networking
Each company will be provided with a stand where students, researchers, and businesses can network. This gives companies the opportunity to meet students and researchers and discuss potential collaborations. These could include student projects, theses, recruitment, or research partnerships.
If your company is looking for one or more student assistants, we encourage you to bring job descriptions to your stand. There will be plenty of opportunities to find talented student assistants among our skilled students.
3 Minute Madness
Here, companies have the chance to increase their visibility with a three-minute presentation in English.
Inspiring Talk
There will be presentations on a geoscientific topic.
Catering
Full catering will be provided throughout the day, including coffee, cake, lunch, and soft drinks.
