Anthony Gary, University of Utah, who stayed here and gave a 3-months course during autumn 2010, is visiting us again on Friday this week, December 7th. He has offered to give the following guest lecture at 13.15 (see attachment):

The talk will be particularly focussed on students and scientists working with large data sets in micropalaeontology and stratigraphy. But everybody is welcome.

After the talk there will be a chance for PhD students, Master students, and others to discuss your own data sets with Anthony Gary and to get some advice on the most appropriate methods for the specific kind of data that you are working with,
