Joanna M. Davies has published her first paper from her PhD in the journal “Quaternary Science Reviews”. The paper is titled “Linkages between ocean circulation and the Northeast Greenland Ice Stream in the Early Holocene” and is based on benthic foraminiferal and multiproxy investigations on a marine sediment core retrieved close to the Northeast Greenland Ice Stream. In this investigations she shows tha the NE Greenland shelf was deglaciated no later than 12.5 thousand years ago, and likely earlier.
