Again this year the Department of Earth Sciences, in cooperation with EAGE presents our participation in the EAGE Student Lecture Tour Europe. On this tour, which is arranged on the initiative of EAGE, a guest lecturer visits the major European universities to tell students about this year's subject. This is the fifth tour - and our fourth participation.
The Student Lecture Tour will come to the University of Aarhus and the Department of Earth Sciences

The lecture presents three connected subjects: Part 1: A briefing on the general system of World Energy and how it has worked during the last fifty years. In Part 2 it is questioned whether this system can be maintained, especially for the two parameters Peak Oil Production? and Climate Change. Finally, Mr. Geffrrois presents his visions of the future for World Energy system, especially how the role of oil industry will change.
