LECTURES
- Institute lectures
These lectures are held to present current earth sciences research to our staff and senior students. They are supposed to appeal to a wide local audience.
As far as possible lectures are held on a fixed weekday/at a fixed time, adjusted every three months to the local teaching. - Guest lectures
These lectures are typically held when external researchers visit us in connection with projects or a PhD defence. They are arranged ad hoc and may have broad or narrow audiences. Time and place may vary.
Planning and coordination
- Proposals for both kinds of lectures can be emailed to foredrag@geo.au.dk
- Coordinator of institute lectures: Margrethe Thorup Nielsen
- Coordinator (if needed) of guest lectures: David Lundbek Egholm
The persons in charge will jointly coordinate the proposed lectures and, if necessary, estimate in which category a proposed lecture belongs.
The employees are, of course, always free to arrange a guest lectute by a visitor.
