Three days at Department of Geoscience, AU will provide the students with an insight into what it means to study at Geoscience.

First day starts with breakfast and a guided tour, followed by a presentation on how AU researchers' work in the laboratory has contributed to determining the origin of the Egtved girl.

The various research areas offer narratives about:

• Climate change in the Arctic
• Monitoring & combating pollution
• Renewable forms of energy in Denmark

A whole day is devoted to a fieldtrip with visits to a number of classical geological locations in central and eastern Jutland, and the students will hear about cores and geotechnical measurements.

Finally, there will be an opportunity to meet students at the Department of Geoscience for a talk about their student life, and the visit ends Friday afternoon in the students' bar.
